The Story
Hidden in the misty highlands of the Pacific, Taiwan has quietly become one of Asia’s most captivating origins for specialty coffee.
Here, between 1,000 and 1,500 meters above sea level, coffee trees grow among bamboo groves, tea gardens, and cloud forests — nourished by volcanic soil, mountain rain, and cool day–night temperature shifts that slow the ripening of cherries and deepen their sweetness.
At Ruma, Taiwanese coffee is more than a product — it’s a reflection of harmony between land, people, and craft. Each cup honors a mountain’s story and a people’s spirit, inviting the world to discover the hidden beauty of this island origin.
